Mulawarman Museum is located in the town of Tenggarong, East Kalimantan province. This museum is actually the former imperial palace Kutai Kartanegara rebuilt after a fire in 1963. Inside the museum area have been built kedaton hall as a residence Sultan Salehuddin II, Funeral Kertanegara Kutai sultanate family and Hasanuddin Mosque.
What is unique from the cemetery is a tombstone made of wood.
In the Museum there Mulawarman heritage objects that once used the empire, such as the throne, where the bedroom, spear, dagger, gun, china statues, inscriptions yupa and others.
Every month of september held ceremonies ERAU, namely typical kedaton ceremonial dances and playing dragon in the village of the Old Kutai.
