Kumala island located in the town of Tenggarong East Kalimantan. Kumala Island is located in the middle of the river Mahakam. At first the Kumala island  is empty island in the middle of the river that is always submerged when the Mahakam river flow increases. Since 2002 the district of Kutai Kartanegara reclamation of the island and has created a recreational park and resort island of Kumala.

Existing vehicle Kumala island similar to fantasy world Jakarta but at a price that is relatively much cheaper and affordable for every game between Rp 1,500,  to Rp 15.000, - There are about 10 games like a cable car rides, sky tower, roller coaster , bumper cars, go karts and carousel. To tour the island which covers 81.7 hectares available mini train which take about 45 minutes.

To cross to the island of Kumala can use the cable car with a tariff of Rp 15,000, or use a motorized boat powered with a tariff of Rp 3500 (current rate).

Icons of the island is the Sky Kumala tower which is a vehicle that can be boarded and raised to a height by using the tower / tower to see the beauty of the island of Kumala ,the Mahakam river and Tenggarong city from a height  .
