If headed south Jakarta or rather in Pelabuhan Ratu area is about 127 km, there is a fairly beautiful beach is the beach Citepus. The Citepus beach is located flanked by pelabuhan ratu beach and Cimaja / Cisolok beach. The Location is close to each other, so many people call it of the coastal pebuhan ratu beach region all though the place are different.
Citepus Beach extends along approximately 2.4 km stretching from the presidential palace to the Samudra Beach hotel pelabuhan Ratu. Citepus beach has a shape with a sloping beach sand smooth texture so it's nice to take a walk along the beach.
The condition is relatively clean and comfortable beach. Wave conditions at that time is not too large (12 March 2013) looks safe for swimming. Some children are seen playing / bathing on beaches. However, please be careful because at certain seasons the beach in the pelabuhan ratu area has a high waves and dangerous enough to swim and sometimes frowned fatalities. For those who do not have the swimming skills should be careful and do not swim when the surf is high. However, for some people, especially surfers actually this is sought high waves for surfing.
For those of you who will stay in the pelabuhan ratu area, many hotels are available around the coast of Pelabuhan Ratu. On the beach are also widely available Citepus Lsitting on the floor restaurants that provide a variety of foods and young coconut. While enjoying the dish can enjoy the panorama of the beach .. For those who want to just sit around at the beach is also available facility space to sit. Toilet facilities are also available at the beach Citepus. Maybe that should be added is rinse and musholah facility.
Similar Jakarta who do not have a free beach facilities though rich region, then to enter the beach area Citepus also not free of charge, from the direction of the pelabuhan ratu city towards the beach Citepus in the middle of the road there is a checkpoint, despite the fact that these roads are public highways and roads. The checkpoint is on the edge of the highway, a drum placed in the middle of the road. At the checkpoint there is no information whatsoever as I recall writing only tourism levy. Private vehicles seen suspended several officers, whereas public vehicles, motorcycles, trucks and commercial vehicles / public allowed to continue. Officers say just pay Rp 20,000 for a car, if the ticket Rp 30,000. Arriving at the beach car park is also charged Rp 5,000.
