Sunda Kelapa Harbor is located in the village Penjaringan, Penjaringan subdistrict, North Jakarta in 1440.

Port of Sunda Kelapa harbor is the forerunner of the Port of Jakarta. This port has been around since the days of empire Pajajaran. In 1527, the Port was won by the Portuguese colonial empire of Demak. Capture of the port of the Portuguese used as the anniversary of the city of Jakarta.


Current location Sunda Kelapa Harbor has grown rapidly to become the central offices, commerce, industry, and hospitality. As the oldest port in Jakarta which still maintains its traditional characteristic.


This port is mainly visited by ships sailing between islands and the people with primary commodity wood, basic commodities, grocery items, and building materials. The number of traditional wooden boats are large making Sunda Kelapa Harbor became a leading tourist attraction.
