Old City of Semarang area an area in Semarang which there are many old buildings the Dutch colonial heritage that until now still exist. Age-old building is more than a century and some have two and a half centuries. Historic old buildings that become tourist attraction of the city of Semarang.
Some of the old buildings and the historic and still used them are Lawang Sewu.
Lawang Sewu, Semarang is a Dutch heritage building built in 1904. Lawang Sewu is derived from the Javanese word which means door Thousand. (Lawang = door, Sewu = thousand). So called because of the large number of existing doors and also the size of the large windows that resembles the door. However the actual number does not reach a thousand.
 

MOSQUE OF Kauman Semarang

Church Blenduk
The name of this church is actually a GPIB Geraja Emanual. More than 200 years old and used "tetenger" (Landmark) Semarang. Located at Jalan Lt Gen. Suprapto no.32. Named Blenduk church because the top 2 towers and a great dome. The dome in Javanese means Blenduk. The building was started up in 1753, is used for the Nederlandsche the Indische Kerk church.
This building was repaired again in 1756, 1787, and 1794. In 1894 the building was dismantled as a state now. The architect of this building is the HPA DE WILDE and WWESTMAS. The existence of this church contribute significantly to the development of Christianity in Semarang

Post Office Semarang
Semarang Post Office is one of the historic buildings in the city of Semarang. Post Office is located at Jalan Pemuda Semarang No. 4 Semarang. The building was built at the time of postal service in Indonesia nearly half a century. Previously, when the postal agencies established by this Tervile JPTheben began operations in 1862, the building was occupied in the Old City, across from the office of the communication services Road Letjend Suprapto, more to the west. The Semarang included in the first three cities in the country that pioneered the postal service. Big Semarang Tawang station

Lighthouse
Built in 1884, this lighthouse construction related to the development of Semarang Semarang as a port city by the colonial government for the transport of sugar exports to the world.
