Satria Mandala Museum, Jakarta is a museum of the history of the struggle of the Armed Forces or the armed forces of the Republic of Indonesia. Satria Mandala Museum, Jakarta was inaugurated in 1972 by the former President of Indonesia, Suharto.



Satria Mandala Museum, Jakarta originally was the home of one of the wives of former Indonesian President Sukarno, who was named Dewi Sukarno. In Satria Mandala Museum, Jakarta can be found in various collections of armaments Indonesia, from the past to the modern collection of mines, missiles, torpedoes, tanks, cannons and even helicopters and planes (one of which is Cureng aircraft ever flown by Air Marshal Agustinus Adi Sucipto).



Satria Mandala Museum, Jakarta also store a variety of historical objects relating to the military as a variety of heavy and light weapons, the army attributes, banners and symbols within the TNI. Furthermore Museum Satria Mandala, Jakarta also exhibited stretcher used to carry the Great Commander General Sudirman guerrilla when he was ill back against the Dutch occupation in the 1940s.





  Still in the military museum complex Satriamandala there are also Waspada Purbawisesa Museum featuring a diorama as the army together with the people to crush the separatist gang DI / TII in West Java, Central Java, Aceh, South Kalimantan and South Sulawesi in the era of the 1960s. Other facilities in this Satriamandala military museum include the Children's Reading Garden, Souvenir Shop, Diner and Multipurpose Building with a capacity of 600 seats.
