GILI TRAWANGAN, GILI MENO AND GILI AIR LOMBOK

Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air is the name of three small islands in the northwestern part of the island of Lombok and East of the island of Bali. The uniqueness of the three islands where each island is surrounded by white sand and crystal clear sea water. Another uniqueness is prohibited from operating a motor vehicle on the island as well as the dog is not allowed. Instead of a motor vehicle used as a means of transportation cidomo on the island that is a kind of horse-drawn wagon. For around the island can also use a bicycle.
 

White sand and crystal clear sea water that makes it into a third island is very famous tourist destination especially for beaches, snorkeling or diving. There are also a turtle breeding.

 

Another attractions to the three Gili islands are Sunset and Sunrise (Sunrise and Sunset). Because the island is relatively small width between 1 km and 1.7 km, then we can walk or bike ride from the west of the island to the east of the island to enjoy the Sunset and sunrise.
The island is the largest and most famous is the island of Gili Trawangan. While the smallest is Gili Meno.

How to Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, Gili Air
Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air can be reached from Bali or Lombok.
from Lombok
To cross from the island of Lombok we have to reach the port Bangsal. Bangsal Harbour is the nearest port on the island of Lombok to get to the three Gili islands. Bangsal Harbour from Mataram city located about 33 miles. From Mataram to Bangsal Harbour can use Taxi or Bus.
Another way is to cross from the lombok from the port sheet. However, at greater distances, more expensive ferry ticket and travel time is also much longer than the first way.
Then how to Lombok / Mataram. For Mataram Lombok or can use the aircraft. This method is the fastest way. Another way is to use the Land transport. If you can use a bus from jakarta directly Jakarta - Mataram AC with a ticket price of around Rp 450,000 is usually meal already  included. Travel time this way almost 2 days. Can also use the Joint Railway transport - Ferry Bis- up to Mataram. The first way is to have to reach the port of Ketapang in Banyuwangi, then crossed over to the island of Bali Gilimanuk port using a ferry with a ticket price of Rp 6,000. From here proceed to the port of Padang Bai by using the bus. From the port of Padang Bai crossing to Lembar Harbour Ferry to Lombok using Ticket Rp 36,000. From Lembar Harbour to Mataram can use the bus. But this way is draining energy and travel time is much longer. Also keep in mind the cost to eat during this journey.
from Bali
From Bali can be directly cross over to the three islands from the port of Padang Bai by boat quickly. Latency of about 4 hours. Ticket prices around Rp 460,000.
For the fastest way to Bali is used air plane to airport Ngurah Rai. From this it can use a taxi, rental car directly to the port of Padang Bai. Or take a taxi to the terminal and then proceed Denpasar bus ride to the port lembar.
For ground transportation to Bali to Lombok same manner, the difference is only to Bali alone.
