Rio City Café was opened in May 1994. The building, which was designed to mimic the steamboat warehouse at the end of the 1800s, the open, airy, and rustic style. It adds a touch of elegance while maintaining the historic feel of Old Sacramento. Rio City Cafe is set comfortably casual, with indoor and outdoor seating. Rio City Café can accommodate large parties and private banquet, on our banquet room for special occasions. Or simply enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine and a view of the outdoor cocktail area. During the winter, enjoy the view from inside a cozy fireplace.
